ABOUT

My Journey in Musical Theatre

I grew up in Alberta, Canada, where I started dancing at the age of five and discovered musical theatre at nine. For years, dance was my world—until tenth grade, when I took a leap into my first musical, Frozen Jr., and had the thrill of playing Elsa. That experience sparked a passion for storytelling through song and character that has only grown stronger ever since.

During the pandemic, I was introduced to The Broadway Collective, a New York–based training program that connected me with Broadway professionals online and, eventually, in person. In my senior year of high school, I had the life-changing opportunity to travel to New York twice to train alongside mentors and peers who inspired me to pursue this path at the highest level. The summer after graduation, I began formal voice lessons in opera and musical theatre, and that fall I entered the Musical Theatre Performance program at Grant MacEwan University, where I studied for two years and earned my diploma.

After MacEwan, I made the exciting decision to continue my studies in New York when I was awarded a scholarship to attend AMDA, where I am currently training. Alongside performing, I’ve always remained rooted in the arts as a teacher, choreographer, and model—work that keeps me connected to creativity in many different forms.

MISSION

As a performer, I strive to bring vulnerability, honesty and joy to every story I tell to inspire those who feel invisible.

“Anything you do, let it come from you. Then it will be new. Give us more to see.” Stephen Sondheim, Sunday in the Park with George.
